Shipping & Delivery Policy
Effective Date: June 10, 2026. This Policy supersedes and replaces all prior shipping policies of Musk de Lumière, including any version published before the Effective Date.
Every order leaves our New Jersey atelier the way it was made — by hand, with care, and in full compliance with the federal regulations that govern the transport of fine fragrance.
1. Scope; Acceptance; Incorporation
1.1 This Shipping & Delivery Policy (this "Policy") is issued by Musk of Noor LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company doing business as Musk de Lumière ("Musk de Lumière," the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), and governs the fulfillment, carriage, and delivery of all orders for products ("Products") placed through our website at muskdelumiere.com (the "Site").
1.2 By placing an order through the Site, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. This Policy is incorporated by reference into, and forms an integral part of, our Terms of Service.
1.3 Orders placed through third-party marketplaces (including, without limitation, TikTok Shop) are fulfilled by us but are additionally subject to the shipping terms, timelines, and buyer-protection programs of the applicable marketplace, which control in the event of a conflict with this Policy as to those orders.
2. Shipping Territory
2.1 We currently ship exclusively within the contiguous United States — the forty-eight (48) connected states and the District of Columbia.
2.2 Because our Products are classified as flammable liquids for transportation purposes (see Section 3), we are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, or APO/FPO/DPO military addresses, as no compliant surface-transport route is available to those destinations for limited-quantity consumer commodities.
2.3 Post-office boxes are accepted only where our ground carriers deliver to them. We reserve the right to require a physical street address for any shipment.
2.4 We do not currently offer international shipping. Expansion to additional markets, if any, will be announced on the Site, and any such shipments will be subject to supplemental terms.
3. Regulatory Classification; Ground-Only Carriage
3.1 Our eau de parfum and related alcohol-based Products are classified for transportation as flammable liquids under U.S. Department of Transportation regulations (UN 1266, Perfumery Products, Hazard Class 3) and are shipped as limited-quantity consumer commodities pursuant to the applicable provisions of 49 C.F.R.
3.2 Federal law restricts such shipments to ground (surface) transportation. For this reason, we do not offer — and cannot lawfully offer — expedited, overnight, or air shipping at any price. This is not a service limitation; it is a legal requirement applicable to all responsible fragrance houses, and we observe it without exception.
3.3 You agree not to re-ship, forward, relabel, or tender our Products for air carriage. Any such act is undertaken solely at your risk, may violate federal law, and releases the Company from any responsibility for the affected shipment.
4. Complimentary Shipping
4.1 Ground shipping is complimentary on every order placed through the Site — no minimum purchase and no code required. A luxury experience should not end at checkout.
4.2 We select the carrier and service level for each shipment at our sole discretion (typically USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground), consistent with the regulatory requirements described in Section 3.
5. Order Processing
5.1 Orders are ordinarily processed within one (1) to three (3) business days. "Business days" means Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Orders placed after 12:00 PM Eastern Time begin processing on the following business day.
5.2 During launches, promotional periods, and holiday seasons, processing may require up to five (5) business days.
5.3 You will receive an order confirmation by email when your order is placed and a dispatch confirmation containing tracking information when your order ships. As set forth in our Terms of Service, an order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your offer to purchase; acceptance occurs upon dispatch.
6. Pre-Orders and Backorders
6.1 Pre-ordered and backordered Products are charged at the time of purchase and ship on or promptly after the estimated release date published at checkout. Estimated release and ship dates are good-faith forecasts, not guarantees, and are subject to change.
6.2 Unless we elect to split a shipment at our expense, in-stock items purchased in the same transaction as a pre-order will be held and shipped together with the pre-ordered item.
6.3 Pre-orders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time prior to dispatch, as further described in our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.
7. Transit Times
7.1 Once dispatched, ground transit typically requires three (3) to eight (8) business days, depending on your distance from our New Jersey facility.
7.2 Transit times are estimates supplied by the carrier and are not guaranteed by the Company. Delays attributable to the carrier, weather, natural disaster, governmental action, labor disruption, or other events beyond our reasonable control do not constitute a breach of this Policy and are not grounds for cancellation, refund, or chargeback.
7.3 If your tracking shows no movement for ten (10) or more business days after dispatch, contact us and we will initiate a trace with the carrier.
8. Address Accuracy; Address Changes
8.1 You are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout, including any unit, suite, or apartment designation. The Company is not responsible for delay, loss, misdelivery, or non-delivery resulting from errors or omissions in the address you provide.
8.2 If a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable due to an address error or refusal, we will contact you. Reshipment may be conditioned on payment of additional shipping costs. If we are unable to reach you within thirty (30) days, we may cancel the order and issue a refund less our reasonable shipping and handling costs.
8.3 We will make commercially reasonable efforts to accommodate address-change requests made before dispatch. Changes after dispatch cannot be guaranteed and are subject to carrier intercept procedures and fees.
9. Title; Risk of Loss; Delivery
9.1 Title to Products and risk of loss pass to you upon our tender of the shipment to the carrier. The carrier's delivery confirmation to the address provided at checkout constitutes conclusive proof of delivery.
9.2 We may, at our sole discretion, require an adult signature upon delivery for shipments containing flammable liquids or for high-value orders.
9.3 The Company is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery. We nonetheless understand how disappointing such events are: if you notify us within seven (7) calendar days of the confirmed delivery date, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier. For high-value orders reported as not received despite delivery confirmation, we may require a signed affidavit of non-receipt and/or a police report before extending any remedy.
10. Damage in Transit
10.1 If your order arrives damaged, retain all outer and inner packaging and notify us as soon as practicable, and in no event later than seven (7) calendar days after delivery, with photographs of the shipping carton, the protective materials, and the affected Product.
10.2 You agree to cooperate with any carrier claim we elect to file, including by providing requested documentation and retaining packaging until the claim is resolved. Remedies for transit damage are governed by our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.
